#39 RYAN NEWMAN:
* ROUND #1 = #39 Defeated #11 DENNY HAMLIN 3 Games to 2. #11 scored 2 quick easy wins and it appeared #39 would get swept. In Game #3 the #39 of Ryan Newman was having serious problems, but #11 Hamlin ended up having problems as well as #39 won by 1 narrow point in a miracle due to late race cautions. This unreal win would put into motion a 9 Game Win Streak by the #39. Newman finished 17th and 16th in Games #4 and #5, and somehow that was enough to narrowly get by #11 Denny Hamlin. #39 Ryan Newman is the only NRL Racer in history to not finish in the Top 15 for all 5 Races and ADVANCE.
* ROUND #2 = #39 Defeated #17 MATT KENSETH 3 Games to 0. On paper it said #17 should SWEEP #39, but just the opposite happen. #39 Ryan Newman got HOT while #17 Matt Kenseth went COLD. #39 even took 1st Place in a Race during this time, and advanced to the Final Four by SWEEPING #17. #39 was now on a 6 Game Winning Streak.
* ROUND #3 = #39 Defeated #48 JIMMIE JOHNSON 3 Games to 0. WOW!! #39 SHOCKS THE WORLD by SWEEPING and ELIMINATING the CURRENT 4 TIME NASCAR CHAMPION #48 JIMMIE JOHNSON. The stradegy of #39 was finish on the Lead Lap and let everything take care of itself, and it worked!!! #48 had problems, and in the end lost! It is the GREATEST UPSET in NRL HISTORY!!!!
* ROUND #4 = #39 Defeated #18 KYLE BUSCH 3 Games to 2. WOW again!!! #39 fell behind 0 Games to 2, and rallied to WIN the next 3 Games in MIRACLE FASHION to PROVE to the WORLD he is the NUMBER ONE RACER & 2010 NRL WORLD CHAMPION! The Key Win was Game #4 when #18 was several cars of #39 but #31 Jeff Burton got into #18 costing him several positions at the end of race and #39 took the HUGE GAME WIN over #18 in the process. #39 set all kinds of history by winning the Tournament, and is #1 in 2010 FOREVER! #18 was the big favorite to win this series but #39 SHOCKED THE WORLD again!!
